In May 2002, we founded the YAMASHITA MOLD (Thailand) Co., Ltd. The Thai Government is actively promoting its national policy of trying to attract companies to establish production plants in Thailand resulting in many influential companies, notably automotive companies from around the world, having set up factories in Thailand. This influx has caused Thailand to become the principal industrial zone in SE Asia. Well placed in this international environment, our plant is mainly engaged in making precision molds and providing maintenance. Similar to the Philippine plant, they are involved in investing money in the latest Japanese mold processing technology and expertise and are thus in a position to tackle the world markets.
