The YAMASHITA MOLD PHILIPPINES CORPORATION was inaugurated in March 1998 as a production plant for the YK Group and was seen as the first step in the creation of their South East Asian network. The Philippine plant is primarily engaged in making of parts used in manufacturing of precision mold for the Japanese market. It was furthermore established with the purpose of mold manufacture similar to that in Japan and to provide support thereto.
